The bitbox is equipped with several status lights which currently serve a few functions.
Power
There is an amber LED which indicates that the bitbox is powered.
Signal Strength
In normal operation, the three white status LEDs display signal strength.

Additionally, there is a fourth status LED behind the mode select switch. It is illuminated solid when any radio is connected, even if your signal is so weak that the status LEDs indicate there is no signal.
Radio Mode
As the bitbox is booting the status LEDs will chase to indicate the radio mode.
Left to right (away from antenna): base mode
Right to left (toward antenna): remote mode
Right to left (toward antenna): remote mode
Factory Reset
The status LEDs will flash three times to indicate that a factory reset has been performed and the system configuration has been cleared.
