Sony FX3 / FX3A

Connection

The Sony FX3 is fully compatible with bitbox over USB-C, which provides data (USB Ethernet). Power must be provided externally, as the FX3 USB-C port does not provide power. bitbox Mini is compatible using a third party USB-C Ethernet dongle, though we are unable to officially recommend any as compatibility with newer dongles on the market is difficult to determine.

info

bitbox must be externally powered with the FX3 and FX3A.

Control Options

The FX3 has no web remote control.

Software Control

Sony Monitor & Control App on iOS and Android. Middle Control Pro is a native macOS control application for Sony cameras.

Hardware Control

To control all aspects of the FX3, we recommend the CyanView Rio.
